Green Screen over Arne Naess dinsdag 11 oktober!

Aanstaande dinsdag is er weer een Green Screen in The Hub Amsterdam, opnieuw weer een bijzondere…

Tekst van The Hub Blog: Arne Naess, a Norwegian philosopher whose ideas about promoting an intimate and all-embracing relationship between the earth and the human species inspired environmentalists and Green political activists around the world. The movie – Call of the Mountain – is a portrait of the Norwegian philosopher and founder of the Deep Ecology Movement – made by two Dutch brothers, Jan and Pat van Boeckel. The screening of this movie will be hosted by 4 special people at The Hub Amsterdam. The maker of the documentary, Jan van Boeckel: “I first met Arne Naess in the mid 1980’s when he was teaching a summer course at the University of Oslo with the subject “Nine different ways in which the word ‘nature’ can be understood.”” Kit-Fai Naess – widow of Arne Naess. Carien de Jonge and Li An Phoa who each studied Arne Naess’s work for their philosophy master thesis. Li An also met Arne Naess twice.
